ARC Raiders Spaceport Lore: Acerra Spaceport and the Exodus Launches

The Spaceport in ARC Raiders is Acerra Spaceport, the launch site where the Exodus shuttles, which the in-game Codex calls vessels of hope and desperation, once roared into the sky and left a struggling Earth behind. The map list simply says Spaceport, and Shani uses the full name Acerra Spaceport in the Deciphering the Data quest. Embark describes it as a derelict launch facility full of old technology spread across industrial sites.

Every other map in the Rust Belt shows what people lost. The Spaceport shows how some of them got out, and its quests keep running into the people who did not.

Key takeaways

  • The map is called Spaceport in game, and the facility itself is Acerra Spaceport, the departure point of the Exodus shuttles.
  • Quests there find Exodus-era equipment that still works, including magnetic decryptors Shani uses to read data.
  • A newer quest says resentment reached the Spaceport's ground staff, with a mutiny brewing in the heart of the Exodus.
  • Speranza now draws water from a reservoir in the tunnels beneath the launch grounds, where old filtration systems still sit.

Acerra Spaceport and the Exodus

The Exodus is the event this place exists to remember. The Codex calls Acerra a monument to humanity's past ambitions and says this is where the shuttles lifted off. It does not say who got a seat or where they went. Our Exodus page covers what the game does say about that.

What the map does show is scale. Quest objectives name an Arrival Building and a Departure Building, a Fuel Control Building, Control Tower A6, a Communications Tower, the North and South Trench Towers, the Rocket Assembly and the Launch Towers. Lance even needs a paper map of the Spaceport to cross-reference coordinates in On the Map, with stops where the Fuel Lines snapped, at an antenna near Fuel Control and at a cactus patch growing in a breach in the wall.

A walk through the Spaceport's buildings

Here they are in roughly the order a traveler would have met them, with the quest that shows what is left inside each one.

The Arrival Building

Shani's Deciphering the Data needs magnetic decryptors she knows of from back during the Exodus, one in the Fuel Control Building and one on the top floor of the Arrival Building. She hopes the data can keep the ceiling from collapsing back home, and she is betting that equipment this old still works.

The Departure Building

The Departure Building has medical exam rooms. Lance wants their records in Prescriptions of the Past, convinced the medical area holds what he needs to become the undeniable champion of the place, and Medical Merchandise has you search the exam rooms for equipment. Shani's The Stench of Corruption goes through the southwest lobby to the staff locker room, looking for clues about a saboteur.

The towers

Shani keeps equipment at the Spaceport to monitor ARC movements, and Lost in Transmission has you climb Control Tower A6 to reconnect it. In A Lay of the Land, shipping notes in the Jiangsu Warehouse foreman's office lead to LiDAR scanners on the tower's upper floor, which she wants for tracking tremors.

Celeste's Turnabout sends you to the North Trench Tower for blackmail files, evidence against a group called the OTTM that she hopes will get them off Speranza's back for good.

The launch grounds

Outside the Rocket Assembly sit rocket thrusters that Celeste wants scouted for Tian Wen's salvage in Greasing Her Palms. The Launch Towers get their own map condition, Launch Tower Loot, which only runs on this map. Its description, as players have recorded it, says someone has locked off the Launch Tower and hidden their hard-earned loot at the top.

Underneath

Below everything are tunnels. Celeste learns of a reservoir beneath the Spaceport and has you find and turn a valve to send its water home in Switching the Supply, buying time while Speranza deals with contaminated water. Apollo wants to monitor the filtration systems down there in The Clean Dream, and The Stench of Corruption ends at a Flushing Terminal, where a key found in a barrel truck at the Dam overrides a bypass protocol.

The staff who stayed: sabotage and mutiny

Some of the newer quests turn from the shuttles to the people who worked there. In A Wrench in the Works, Celeste reads that resentment reached the Spaceport's own ground staff, with a mutiny brewing right in the heart of the Exodus.

That fits something found on another map. On Blue Gate, Shani's Home to Roost reads logs that mention mutinies being repressed by a group called MANTIKOR, entries that stop a few weeks before the Exodus. The game has not said how the two connect, so treat any link between them as an open question for now.

The present-day Spaceport has its own loners. Bilguun's Hideout sits next to the Container Storage, and Tian Wen sends you to search it in What We Left Behind. In a later quest Celeste goes looking for Bilguun himself, someone she describes as not the most sociable person, who spends a lot of time Topside but usually checks in at Speranza.

What Speranza takes from the Spaceport now

Power and security are the running problems. In Power Out, something or someone knocks out some of Speranza's electrical substations, and the engineer Celeste sent to fix them has not come back. You search the substation south of the Spaceport, next to the Checkpoint, for any sign of him and get the power running again. In her next quest, Celeste mentions her usual engineer is still healing from his wounds.

Celeste's Worth Your Salt picks up a note that electrical engineers at the Spaceport were working on advanced salt-based batteries, which she hopes could prevent full outages the next time a ceiling comes crashing down in Speranza. Shani has her own worries: in Waking the Grid the old security grid is failing, and in Dust on the Wires a scout team she sent to catalog the site's security has not reported in for two days.

Read together, these quests treat the Spaceport as working infrastructure that Speranza is trying to keep running, whoever built it.

ARC at the Spaceport

First Wave machines lie here too. Shani's Dormant Barons counts the Spaceport among the maps where Barons fell and stayed as husks, and the Nomadic Envoy's Taking Stock asks for a photo of a Baron Husk on Spaceport specifically.

Tian Wen believes Surveyors are transmitting data back into orbit, maybe tied to the strange signal Raiders picked up, and Mixed Signals has you break one open. A newer quest has you attach a Surveyor Vault to the antenna on top of the Launch Towers.

On October 10, 2026, the condition rotation listed Harvester, Matriarch, Electromagnetic Storm, Prospecting Probes, Night Raid, Launch Tower Loot and the ARC Frigate for the Spaceport. Embark says ARC sent the Frigate in answer to the fallen Emperor at Pendola Pass, another Exodus site, and the ARC Frigate condition now brings it over the old launch grounds too.

Frequently asked questions

Is it called Spaceport or Acerra Spaceport in ARC Raiders?

Both. The map is listed as Spaceport, and some data calls it The Spaceport. In the story the facility is Acerra Spaceport, the name Shani uses in Deciphering the Data and the name in its Codex entry.

What happened at the Spaceport in ARC Raiders?

It is where the Exodus shuttles launched and left Earth behind. The Codex calls the shuttles vessels of hope and desperation. Today the site is derelict, its old technology scavenged by Raiders and contested by ARC.

Was there a mutiny at the Spaceport?

A newer quest, A Wrench in the Works, says resentment reached the Spaceport's ground staff, with a mutiny brewing in the heart of the Exodus. What the mutineers did is still coming out through quests, so anything beyond that text is speculation.

Who is Bilguun in ARC Raiders?

Bilguun is a loner with a hideout next to the Container Storage at the Spaceport. Celeste describes him as not very sociable and says he spends a lot of time Topside but usually checks in at Speranza.
