ARC Turbine
Threat Level: Extreme - Category: Flying
A floating ARC machine introduced in the Riven Tides update (1.26.0) that drifts across the Rust Belt skies under heavy armor and electrified defenses. The Turbine looks calm in flight but is one of the rarest material sources outside a Harvester Event. It descends to ground level when 16 to 12 minutes remain in the match, deploying a small field of proximity mines beneath it before landing. Engaging it is only viable once it has touched down and exposed its landing gear and yellow internal tanks.
Weak Points
- Landing Gear (only exposed when grounded)
- Spinning Yellow Tanks (visible through armor gaps once landed)
Attacks
- Cluster Lightning Missiles. Primary attack that deals very high damage and triggers lightning strikes shortly after impact, stunning Raiders caught in the radius.
- Proximity Mines. Deploys a small minefield directly beneath itself before descending, denying the obvious approach.
- Electrified Hull. While airborne, the Turbine's armor is electrified and resists conventional fire.
Tactics
Do not engage during the flight phase. Wait until the Turbine descends and its landing gear deploys, then push the yellow tanks visible through the armor gaps. The proximity minefield underneath needs to be cleared or avoided before you close the distance. Even grounded, it will still launch cluster lightning missiles, so keep cover between you and the hull and rotate squadmates through the damage windows. Patience, coordination, and timing matter more than raw firepower.
Spawn Locations
- Rust Belt (drops in mid-match, 16-12 minutes remaining)
- Riven Tides
Drops
- turbine-compressor
- arc-alloy
- advanced-arc-powercell
- arc-circuitry

FAQ
What is the ARC Turbine in ARC Raiders?
The ARC Turbine is a floating Extreme-class ARC machine added in the Riven Tides update (patch 1.26.0). It drifts across Rust Belt skies under heavy armor and electrified defenses, then falls from the sky between the 16 and 12 minute marks of a match. It is one of the few ARCs outside Harvester Events that drops top-tier salvage.
How do you kill the ARC Turbine?
You cannot meaningfully damage the Turbine in flight. Wait for it to descend, dodge or clear the proximity mines it drops beneath itself, then attack the spinning yellow tanks visible through the armor gaps once its landing gear is deployed. It still fires cluster lightning missiles while grounded, so use cover and rotate damage windows with your squad.
When does the ARC Turbine spawn?
The Turbine appears in the mid-to-late phase of a match, descending from the sky when there are roughly 16 to 12 minutes left on the timer. It is most commonly tied to the new Riven Tides map but can drop anywhere across the Rust Belt.
What does the ARC Turbine drop?
The Turbine drops the Turbine Compressor, a unique high-tier crafting component, alongside ARC Alloy, Advanced ARC Powercell, ARC Circuitry, ARC Motion Core, and ARC Performance Steel. The Turbine Compressor is described as one of the rarest ARC materials available outside a Harvester Event.
Can you solo the ARC Turbine?
It is possible but punishing. The cluster lightning missiles deal very high damage and stun on impact, the proximity minefield underneath limits your approach, and the windows on the yellow tanks are short. Solo runs require precise positioning, plenty of healing, and a weapon that can burst the weak points down quickly.
What are the ARC Turbine weak points?
The landing gear and the spinning yellow tanks visible through the armor gaps once the machine is grounded. Neither is exposed in flight, so timing your engagement to the descent phase is the entire fight.
